Updating this website with some new art! After the summer con season ended, I was finally able to take time and doodle a bunch of stuff! Originally I was gonna use this September & October to work on new merch but honestly…I recently fell in love with my characters again after a very turbulent relationship I've had with personal art for the last 4 years. Stepping off of Twitter for the last few years and rediscovering Tumblr this month really got my inspiration going again! I love 90's and 90's anime blogs like you really can't find better inspiration than from the hard work these posters put into them! Some of my favorite ones have been 90sfantasyanimestuff / laboitediabolique / hotwaterandmilk. And these are still active! With continuous updates!!
I've actually gotten around to making an outline for my 90's Space Anime Parody series and will hopefully have some concrete scripts in the future! I really wanna turn it into a novel accompanied with pictures or something…? We'll see what happens, right now I'm kinda just throwing darts at a board to see what sticks, but it feels good to have a semblance of a plan for these characters that have sort've been abandoned by me in these last few years (ᵕ—ᴗ—) aheheee. I'm really doing a lot behind the scenes that doesn't involve art! Writing up a bunch of character tidbits and figuring out different alien cultures / fashion / family ties and stuff like that. It's so much harder than it sounds looool.
Also you may notice some fanart that aren't my characters! The last 3 pics here are characters that actually belong to @bulgariansumo! They have some really fun characters and I'm super in love with Galactiquest, so you should go read it!!
Unfortunately I'm prepping for the November con season so no more fun time drawing my characters…hopefully I'll have time in the future to draw some more and work on my very belated artist alley vlogs;;;
