The story follows Ishmael Shahar, a guy that just wants to travel the stars and meet new and interesting life forms and explore planets; maybe even cash in on some bounties or collect rewards for finding and delivering materials for people? Gotta fuel this ship somehow! Though these jobs should be easy enough, somehow he always finds himself in a tough situation, either by his own doing by playing the role of peacemaker or some outside force getting him involved. Talk about bad luck!

Though throughout his time travelling the stars, he runs into some er— lively interesting characters that turn out to become some of the closest people in his life.
